This trip has been exclusively designed for the adventurous travellers looking to find out what all the hype is about Kenya being the number one Safari destination worldwide on a ten day stay in Kenya with three days spent in the World's most popular game reserve, The Masai Mara spotting the Big Five (Lion,Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and the Buffalo) and meet one of Kenya's most prominent warrior tribe, The Maasai. Another three days will be spent in the coastal paradise of Diani for snorkelling, barefoot luxury  beach strolls, a visit to a sunset beach bar, a sunset dhow ride and a visit to a traditional sacred forest. This trip has been designed with the intention to leave your head spinning and heart stirring and you will get to understand why over two million people visit Kenya yearly (you will be mad at yourself for not having booked this trip earlier!).

 

DAY 1: TOUCH DOWN IN NAIROBI

Upon touchdown in Nairobi, you will be transferred to your hotel to relax and refresh as you settle down to acclimatise to your new home for the next two nights. We will have an introductory dinner together for you to get to meet fellow travellers who will be dear friends by the time you are headed home at the end of your Safari!

DAY 2: MORNING GAME DRIVE

​

You will be picked up from your hotel at 5:00am for an introductory game drive on the only National park located within a city worldwide! Located only 15 minutes from the Nairobi C.B.D, here you will get an idea of what to expect at the Masai Mara watching prides of Lions, clans of Hyenas and towers of Giraffes strutting their stuff with the Nairobi skyline featuring proudly in the background. At 11:30am we will head to the nearby Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to visit orphaned Elephant calves that are being nursed till they get old enough to be released back into the wild when they will be old enough to fend for themselves. After this visit, we will head off to the nearby Giraffe Center to feed and meet the endangered Rothschild giraffes followed by lunch at a simple Kenyan restaurant in Upper Hill serving some tasty organic Kenyan meals free from any spices and additives.

DAY 3:  SCENIC ROAD TRIP TO THE MASAI MARA

​

After breakfast (8 am) we will depart from the hotel on our specially built Safari vehicles(everyone is guaranteed a window seat) on a scenic six hour road trip down to the World's most popular game reserve, The Masai Mara! Upon arrival, you will get to refresh, have lunch and have a short siesta before having an introductory afternoon game drive.

DAY 4: SPOTTING THE BIG FIVE

​

We will depart from our lodge at 6am in the morning for a game drive in order to spot THE BIG FIVE in their natural habitat (believe us when we say that the experience is way different from visiting a zoo) and we will have picnic lunch in the bush right in the belly of the Masai Mara with Zebras and Wildebeests strutting their stuff in the background well within touching distance. In the evening, we will have a sundowner together over drinks and some small bitings as we watch the sun set together.

DAY 5: BALLOON RIDE OVER THE MASAI MARA

​

You will be picked up from the lodge at 5am for an hour long balloon ride over the Masai Mara followed by a champagne breakfast. Afterwards, we will pay a visit to a Masai village for a Cultural Immersion Experience to see how this storied warrior tribe has held on it's millenia old tradition and lifestyle like livestock rearing, living in grass thatched houses, drinking cow blood and maintaining their warrior culture (they are very much Kenya's own version of the Spartans from Greece) and minimalist lifestyle all the way into the age of iPhones and space exploration!

DAY 6: DEPARTURE TO THE COASTAL PARADISE OF DIANI

​

At exactly 9am we will depart from the lodge and head for the airstrip where we will fly down south to the coastal paradise of Diani where you will be transferred to the hotel that will be your home for the next three nights. In the evening, a reposeful sunset dhow ride awaits as we sail the waters of the Indian Ocean over some cold drinks and bitings while watching the sunset. Is there a better way to close out your first day in Diani? You guys will be mad at us for not having organised this trip earlier :)

Day 7: MARINE PARK TOUR AND SNORKELLING EXPERIENCE

​

At 8am we will depart from the resort for the Kisite Mpunguti marine park for a half day tour where we will be on a private dhow cruising into the Indian Ocean for some swimming and snorkelling with some dolphins while watching the beautiful marine life found on the colourful corals (It is said that up to 80% of all life on earth is found in the oceans so be prepared!) We will have some local Swahili chicken/fish curry for lunch with veggie options available for the vegans. This food has been prepared by the women from this community with the intention being to make sure that your tourism dollars get to circulate around the local community thus leaving a positive footprint behind.

DAY 8: VISIT TO ANCIENT SACRED FOREST

​

We will have a 10am departure from the resort to the sacred Kaya Kinondo forest where the ancestors of the locals would perform rituals and sacrifices to the gods and we will be educated on their religious beliefs and how they would use the forest for protection from invaders. After this visit we will head to Nomad beach bar for lunch where you will be treated to a delicious lunch and drinks on the beautiful beach front bar watching camels stride by with the stunning Indian Ocean right before your very eyes.

DAY 9: RETURN FLIGHT TO NAIROBI

​

We will depart the resort for the nearby Ukunda Airport where we will have an hour's flight back to Nairobi where our guests will be picked up in one of Nairobi's best nganyas in "OPPOSITE" which has been rightfully branded in Canada's Red and White colours with the Maple leaf to top it all of! We will head for the Uhuru Park to see the wonderful work of Kenya's very own Nobel peace prize winner Wangari Maathai, the founder of the Green Belt movement (which has a strong presence in Ontario, Canada). Afterwards, we will have lunch in nearby Upper Hill enjoying some tasty organic Kenyan meals before heading down to Nairobi's Kiambiu Estate where we will have a slum tour  before walking to nearby Jericho Estate to Jericho Boxing Club where we will meet some of the young male and female boxers. Anyone of our guests who would like to sponsor a boxer's education is more than encouraged to do so. The purpose here is to make our guests aware of the positive impact that travel can have. A portion of our profits go to our COrporate Social Responsibility program, HIGHER PURPOSE where we are already putting two young boxers from needy homes through High School.

DAY 10: RETURN FLIGHT BACK HOME

​

You will be provided with transport from the hotel for the Airport for the flight back home!
