About this trip
This trip has been co-curated by Canada's very own Amanda Doooney, who's been to Kenya on five seperate ocassions after her first visit in 2022. This trip has been exclusively designed for adventurous Canadian travellers as an invite to this marvellous country to find out why Amanda loves being over here that much! From the warm tropical climate (over 300 days of guaranteed sunshine yearly), warm hospitable locals, world class Safari parks, spectacular sandy white beaches and delicious food you are quite likely to be enchanted justb as much as Amanda is.
Over the course of ten days in Kenya, four days will be spent in Nairobi, the next three days will be spent in the world's most popular game reserve, the Maasai Mara, spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo ) and meeting one of Kenya's most prominent warrior communities, the Maasai. Another three days will be spent in the coastal paradise of Diani, with snorkelling, barefoot beach strolls, a visit to a sunset beach bar, a sunset dhow ride and a visit to a traditional sacred forest lined up!
This trip has been designed with the intention of leaving your head spinning and your heart stirring, while helping you understand why millions of people visit Kenya every year. You may even find yourself wondering why you didn't book this trip earlier!

While in Nairobi, you will visit the city's main attractions, including the famous Giraffe Center and the Karen Blixen Museum. You will also participate in meaningful wildlife conservation charity work at the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and experience Nairobi’s vibrant culinary scene.
The Untamed Maasai Mara
Journey to the world-famous Maasai Mara to witness the magnificent Big Five wildlife in their natural habitat.
